Yolanda - Photographer

Hey, I am Yolanda - you can call me Yo! 
My fun-loving and generous personality is what you will notice first and I'd give you my shirt off my back in a second if you needed it.  So just ask!  I am a goof at heart which really helps bring out those genuine smiles from all ages.  My mentality is "get THE shot," so you will see me neck deep in the water right along with you, maybe even a midnight cannonball to finish off the celebration! 😜

I am a gypsy at heart, spending most of my twenties travelling the world and found my home with my family in Vernon, BC.   My favorite adventures always include; street tacos, wheaty German beers, exploring the back roads, trails & viewpoints with her two baby boys, hubby & Bernese Mountain Dog, Gabi.  But what really makes my heart sing are road trips, farmer’s markets, family time, heli-rides, & binging a good true-crime documentary.

 

Since I was 11 years old cameras have always fascinated me, which lead me to become a professional photographer for the past 13 years.    Attending North Island College in Comox, BC I acquired my Professional Photography Certificate in 2011.  Having branched out into the world of Architectural Photography in the last few years, Yolanda had really formed a love and appreciation for all of the unique and stunning venues.

 

Integrating the stunning landscape & architecture into your wedding day photography is a big part of my shooting style, and with an eye for detail, and a sixth sense in predicting something important is coming, I most likely won’t miss a shot.
